Has anyone thought about the humanity of horse racing? These types of injuries (granted, often not this severe) are relatively common in the sport, as are abusive owners. I do hope Barbaro does revocer (infection is said to be the main danger he's facing) but as an animal lover, I have to question the ethics of the sport...

Honestly, I think horses that are Kentucky caliber are treated better than many human parents treat there kids. At $350,000 a horse, or something like that, they cannot afford abuse and careless injuries. I could be wrong though, not much of a horse racing expert...

Peace

Do horses like to be jumped upon and ridden? ive allways wondered that. I like cows just as much personally.
