I'm sorry for my little flame war with a few of you. It was all in jest, but Rustfan please check up on your facts in future ok?

No Problem Greedy G - all is cool. I've always been a big fan of reggae, just not great with dates. Ironic as it is, this weekend I bought a Sean Paul 2004 calendar (even though the year is getting close to being half over) and it has "famous dates in reggae history" scattered throughout. Hopefully I'll get some use out of it.

A little rusty - but still a fan of JA music.

Hi Jack (hey that's almost a play on words ;-)

Yes, just trying to keep things mellow. Couldn't help notice the posts by GG. Just wondering - is this GG have anything to do with Alvin Ranglin - the legendary reggae producer who worked closely with King Tubby and Bim Sherman? I have read that GG was Alvin Ranglin's nickname - wondering if there's any connection?

No, but that's excellent trivia that I'll never remember.

Ooops, - just had Bim Sherman on my mind I guess - I meant to say/type Lee Perry & Alvin Ranglin worked well together. Now that I've had a chance to read more of the posts - I realize this GG on this board has nothing to do with reggae producer Alvin Ranglin - sorry SNWMF GG - just got a little mixed up.

JB,

Nahhhhh.... I was gonna go for Alvin Ranglin meets Jah Shaka - but I was even starting to bore myself. Thank you for putting me, and everyone else, from further sufferation. Gonna go hang up my Sean Paul calendar now.
