Too funny. Actually Wokstar mixes it up real nice at the Blue Lamp every Sunday and Fridays night there'sDJ Gemini at the Carribean spot on Arden. Otherwise just got to keep an eye out for live shows here and there. . . or the Bay isn't far....sad, true, for the most part

Looks like Easy Star All Stars on the 15th at Harlows is all he's got on his plate at this point.

Wow, Jah Bill. Jaded? ;-)
Some great bands come through here. Bambu Station was wonderful! It is just the sound systems that are of poor quality, imo.
But then again, I truely don't get out much.

good... the grad is the worst venue I've ever seen a reggae show at
as I smoked bowls everyone looked at me like i was crazy and how dare I...
and the separation of the venue by fences is lame to say the least

I saw Rebelution for the first time recently and really enjoyed their show.
I also never miss an episode of Radio Wadada. If you love reggae and are in the Sacramento area, these are "not to miss".

You can listen live or, I believe, they archive the show for a week. Go to kdvs.org, click schedule, look for Radio Wadada, click on that, go from there. Please let me know if that doesn't work.
Bless,
