Personally, I am looking forward to seeing old friends, making new ones, Michael Franti, Izzi Vibes, Burning Spear, Don Carlos and those awesome salmon steaks they sell at the top of the hill!

music, people, beer, spending time w/ my girl, finding out a little something about the people camping next to you, that big glowing thing that was cruising the grounds last year, pie for the people, another fest for the memory banks, herbal delites, spotting performers amongst the crowd, coming home to another year of anticipation, irie vibes...

Gettin to see my FAMILY AGAIN!! You people are one of a kind! I MISS YOU ALL!!

Dancing on the grass while watching Don Carlos do that cool little dance of his that always makes me smile. Drinking cold Sierra Nevada ,enjoying the wonderful smells of the vendor village (incense, smoke from the grills, etc.) while the Sun sets over all of my smiling friends.

Seeing performers who I am not familiar with and seeing my old favorites like Burning Spear.

Being with all you'se guys, checking in the fiestier vendors, yoga in the am, the smell of the foothills in the evening, SEEING BURNING SPEAR, and Beres, shakin the bootylicious wonder of it all in the dancehall, possibly singing for yall again with?!?!?!?!?!?! Seeing Gret and Warren smiling and getting a chance to ENJOY what they have created! Seeing the kids marvel at what is a true celebration!
Seeing my mom's beautiful face cookin in the staff kitchen with Katie, spontaneous hugs and pogo-ing with Aleta and Lee, laughing, and dancin in the streets.... this is an invitation across the nation, a chance for the folks to meet. I feel a song comin on, hold on....
Summer's(almost) here and the time is right for dancing in the street...
ALL we need is music, sweet sweet music, there'll be music everywhere, there'll be swinging and swaying and records playin....it doesn't matter what you wear, just as long as you are there! So come on everyone grab a one, everywhere around the world!
