I just found out about the SNWMF a couple of days ago and I'm determined to go now. It sounds like a wonderful combination of bands, which would make the perfect music festival (for my taste).
Anyway, I'm wondering if any attempt has been made to get the Antibalas Afrobeat Orchestra in the mix. Since I first saw them in concert I've been an avid fan. I know they've played with Femi Kuti in the past, and they just seem like they would be a perfect addition to the fest.
Even if it just won't happen, for anyone who's interested but isn't already familiar with them, I would highly recommend them. For more info, check out:
