Just curious.

Did anyone else attend the Boom festival at lake Idana a few weeks ago?

Don't you mean the "Boone Festival?" Pat Boone, Debbie Boone, Daniel Boone?
Were you wearing an old fringe leather jacket and carrying a musket?

No assetone. I meant Boom. You know, like the sounds you make when you get up in the morning. Actually there is another website called Boom 2004 with photos. Check it out.

Don't you mean acetone? A colorless, volatile, extremely flammable liquid ketone, CH3COCH3, widely used as an organic solvent.

It is interesting to note that you can combine a liter of water with a liter of alcohol, but you do not get 2 liters of the mixture. Instead you only get about 1 1/2 liters. (The same would hold for measuring in quarts or pints). The reason that 1 + 1 is not equal to 2 in this case is that the molecules mix in between each other and fill in spaces that would normally be empty in the liquid by itself.

Re: "Acetone": constant confusion over the actually pronouciation and definition continue...Ace-tone... not ac-et-one...the nickname "Acetone" was derived from a portable electric organ (similar to the Farfisa) that I purchased many years ago...I used it on my first recording with The Untouchables ("Tropical Bird"winking smiley...absolutely perfect for ska music...But, I am impressed with Acacia's misplaced knowledge on the subject...Re: Madame Adam's bastardizing of my tag, all I can say is: "I sense great hostility in your reply. Furthermore, I doubt you bagged any possum at the Boone Festival".
