Yea, you notice neither Jah Warrior or TNT are a part of this one (for whatever reason), so it will be nice to see/hear what the rest can bring to the table. Also will be cool to hear Revelation sound again, they're well-nice.

>the flyer looks like a after party rally for the marines or sumting. have heard of dem but still does not mean reggae & money mixxed meks a good dance. when will a promoter bring sum irie vibes to the table? >1LUV*+*+*+*+*+*+*+

ok, you meant the missles in background then.
Well, Lustre Kings are a Rasta sound, and JWS always defends itself in clashes, which is why clash sounds are generally the only ones people take seriously.

i* tink people would take it more serious if dar was some serious reggae bizz being put on ticket instead of some idea of if u can afford to purchase a thousand dubplates from who ever u can get in contact with will make u a great soundsystem because sum1 kno'z how to yell @crowd on top of it. iNi need a roots dance. not a clash! just some uplifting reggae & no worries in da place. now dat is killer dancehall. not sum bait consisting of dirty american money in first place. runn it! -RASpects+

Well, I overstand your points...sounds used to have their own set of DJs who were loyal to the sound and that made clashing much more special, but those days are gone. Anyone can buy a dubplate these days from almost anyone.

However, dubplates are second probably to only stageshow performances as far as Jamaican artists' income these days. The dubplate industry has revitalized many careers, and supplied a much-needed income for many foundation artists who would be struggling in their twilight years otherwise.

>forsure chimino. u can even order dem plates off line with-out even meeting artists or having true experience on the running what so ever. but still i* would not seh stop buying dubplates dat is just silly because iNi all have to feed the family in dis wicked world where every wants to raid the barn & not plant tha corn, rite*. but u did mek a crucial point about those days good clash dayz seem to be far away. i*mean when downbeat or jah shaka for 2 retires it will really even change even more for starters. dat is sumting im really not looking forward to so im speaking out now b4 it is to far gone. hopefully by tha time dis reveils iNi message will have picked up & created a nice up reggae/dub dance for the massive! -RASpects+
