I wonder if Ini will be getting wedged up when this drops big time, these sample blow ups often give the original artist's a boost as well.

Yeah, me too Giab!

still not a patch on Ini's orginal tho
I doubt it Bufo

It will probably sound nice juggled into from the original, it's almost just a big beefy toast to it. If it is actually a sample, which it sounds like to me, with Ini's vocal in there, rather than a relick, someone's going to be holding their hand out, if it wasn't sorted before hand.

Sly and Robbie's nuff big old riddim too. I'm buying the hype, that will rock the dance for sure.

"it's almost just a big beefy toast to it"

delete 'almost' from that sentance, I've just listened to the whole tune again from this thread, I'd previously only heard the snippet solid posted the other day.

not disagreeing Bufo, but the Ini tune is probably my favourite reggae tune ever

Mine too Giab, I'm not arguing the case for the superior tune, this is just the new one and the one that will be getting the current spins in the dances. For a while anyway. I'll probably soon get fed up with hearing it dropped so much at Oasis ! But it will definitely get 'em wiggling, the original would be too laid back for where this will be dropping.

ah Bufo, you are a man with impeccable taste smiling smiley
I've only heard on the shitty little speakers on my pc at work, is it over the original sly & robbie riddim track, or a new relick ?

Gosh, I'm really groovin' on the Junior Reid version too: I'll let you know when the new FresnoReggae.com playlist is ready to stream, probably later tonight. It will include both versions, as well as a TON of other music!

The original is best enjoyed on the album, lovely big dubbed out disco-mix. The whole album is one of my most often played. I probably wont listen to this too much at home, but I'll love it out in the clubs, especially when I've been smoking almost as much as you do Giab smiling smiley !!!

The Junior Reid is 80's Jammys business (also on heavy droppin greensleeves 12) different lick altogether....the Jr Gong one is just a sample with a bit of tweaking...drops wicked after the ini kamoze, taking it up a gear. Most crowds will bop to world a music especially if you crank up the speed a bit!!
