all DEB reissues: about the best pressings i know of. killer

recent reissue of GARNETT SILK "GREEN LINE" (TAXI) -- GARBAGE...AGAIN! this is the second time i've been fooled - so shame on me - but Taxi has had some good recent presses of other tunes. but this one SUCKS.. STAY AWAY

recent reissue of 'police in helicopter' riddim from the Flabba label: PRESSING SUCKS, stay away. bought a double of one of the tunes, but wasted the money. unplayable.

also -- who said it was a good idea to buy Roy Palmer "Busy Street"? you owe me 49 cents, and two minutes back.

Roy Palmer "Busy Street"

That's a lousy tune! Freedom Sounds label if I recall correct. Fell for it too. Played it once, never again.

Agreed on the DEBS, doesn't get much better!

coxsone - bassies - things come to bump / mad lads - 10 to 1 - both not perfect but totally listenable

morwell esq - melodians - hold on tight - great tune, excellent pressing

penthouse vintage - cultural roots (spelled: cultural ites on label) - devil ites - crisp & clean, killer tune

hop - derrick morgan - mine you kill me dead - very good pressing, both tunes are excellent

well charge - al campbell - repatriation - sounds great, real good pressing

oh yeah

delroy wilson "king pharoah" / martinies "yours until tomorrow" (studio one): decent output but surface noise is a near spoiler.
