Yes top draw HI*FI! Just reissued on Iroko 12". Don't know about the dub as I don't have either but that vocal you posted is the one they put on it. Huge tune. Woulda love fe hear that ringin out in that giant tin shed up inna Boomville.

ites juan—it was good to bump into you this year again, if only ever so briefly.

this certainly isn’t the first selection in this thread to make me wonder, but i feel like i can at least ask you this without things getting too twisted, and i also realize the whole “to each their own” thing…that said, what would it be about a tune like “irie feeling” from the melodians that qualifies (in your opinion) as heavy? heavy just isn’t a word i would associate with this cut.

yes.. 'heavy' wasnt really qualified here.. the bass line in that melodians tune is definetly heavy.. but the mood is not..

so heavy bass line, yes
heavy mood.. no
