For some reason you always make me laugh on this message board! I can't help but wonder more about you since it does not state in your profile. Any little tidbits would be nice. Must sound wierd, but your posts are always funny and true.

TR-808 - keep your yap shut!

MissButterly, I love your name. It reminds me of the scent of a sweet perfume I smelled once in Paris, passing on the street. Have you ever met someone and felt like you knew them forever? So comfortable and at ease that from the moment you spoke to them you knew that you were on this earth to be at that exact place at that exact moment? Like a deja vu, the wind whispers "MissButterly"

tidbits... how about a new tidbit every day till the festival, then ill tell you the BIG thing about me.

todays tidbit is ***drum roll please***

I cant stand imitation cheese crackers. goldfish, cheese nips et al I just cant deal with at all.

Tell me a little about yourself, MissButterly, if I may be so bold. Your profile is empty too.

Oh bun, I wish I was as funny as you but regretfully I am not. Want to know the funny thing about my screen name? I meant to type in MissButterFLY but I messed up and now I cant change it. I will be forever named after butter, which I don't even like. A tidbit about me? I enjoy cheez-its from time to time, reggae all the time, and can't wait for this years festival! All of you out there crack me up! smiling smiley

Question: What is the best way to enjoy the Easter holiday with family and friends?

If you are from Jamaica, your answer likely involves sharing a soft, moist Easter fruit bun with cheese, or simply "bun and cheese."

Real Jamaican Easter fruit bun, sometimes mistaken for fruitcake, is a rich, thick loaf of "sweet bread" baked with a mixture of fruits. Traditionally, Jamaicans and other Caribbean islanders enjoy this treat during Easter time (hence the name "Easter Bun"winking smiley. It is not uncommon, though, to eat fruit bun throughout the year as part of a snack or light meal.

Easter fruit bun is typically eaten sandwich-style with a thick slice of sharp cheddar cheese in the middle. However, many people enjoy their fruit bun by itself, with butter, with cream cheese, or in many other adventurous combinations!

a teen-aged kid who just recently moved here from Negril has been coming to my show lately... i asked him how things were going, if he misses home.. he said he's gonna miss the bun-n-cheese at Easter (although Easter there is a few days, from Good Friday to Palm Sunday or something like that)
