Nazarenes - The Lord Said (feat. Midnite)

Earth is the Lord lyrics

"Universal human fight need consultation
The forces show the force of instant devastation
That means every moment is precious and useful
Seek sincerity and action highest expression
Search out the root of a matter well before you rush to judgment
Again and still the words of the Emperor Abyssinian
Speak to judgment the world situation solution
First and second class citizens in every nation
What don’t you ovastand ova stand no man
Haile I Selassie I the First as Jahovah ina man
Abraham to the twelve tribes ina every nation
Into the peak operational technological
Onto grounds man and harvest Rasta to every one
The earth is the Lord’s and the world is his plan

Critical delineation I can hear them now
Fine tuning dialectics, discussing the how
But the how without know is a stray out loud
There’s a stray out loud high official mouth
Resource is the truth in the root of what it’s all about
In the first place they wouldn’t be able to suppress such a freedom shout
If you hadn’t supplied them the arms to assert dictator clout

Always tell you with the very important piece left out
It just business the exportation of weapon who’s the biggest bout
Supply the third world disparity wid nozzle for gasoline guns out
Overly ambitiously trying to sweep the world house out
Wid rebellion among friends and allies they paint white the house
Calcination and pacification, purification they saying, kinetic
burn them out , Burn them out
Innocent blood shed from the valley to the alley ina Tivoli
Waiting for a spectacle of sorcerer word transfusion
How them ago speak up to justify such naked aggression
How many details can your sound bite fill in
The chairman of the board of war time contractors
Making sure order invader investor the thing
Confident desperation ina the military wing
The highest generals of tactical application reluctant
Knowledge of the danger ina de field urging caution
Turn round mek it an issue of gender oblivion
With strong presumption assertion, whoa
It’s like a policy of hit first and then try to ovastand
Simultaneously having a systemic transformation
Socialism is the backbone of the bail out plan
Meritocracy within theocracy monarchy constitutional
Abba Janhoy Abba Kiddus and I will publish the righteous goal
I focus the eye in I and I to strive
Them a step pon working man pride wid pure big time
Haile I Haile I Haile I
A short tactical operation how they narrow it down
They say these are the ideological root of the danger zone
Wish to put any objection as an obstacle out of the land and home
Then again who live by the sword again die by the sword, seen."

Bigvein yeah of course songs from the Midnite camp work. I was just curious what are some Midnite songs that others enjoy.

Boom tune.....That whole PGM mix is crucial, then again most if not all of Childs mixes are must listens. some of the doppest exclusives get put down for those mixes!!!

That tune by De Apostle is not an "exclusive." To my ears, it appears to be nothing more than the first 2:36 of the song by that name that appears of his "Book Of Fire" album.

And, to my knowledge, this is not a "Midnite Camp" artist, they just share the same country of residence.......

I believe there was a free download of this track from the 45 shootout when the track first came out. You can get it from Itunes though......search for the Mongst I & I remexis EP.

I love hearing dubs of these I Grade tracks. Tippy had mentioned a while back about an I Grade dub album in the works.....really looking forward to that.

aquaponics and jps thank you for the info on the Dub track of Mongst I&I!! I will be searching for that today! Just when i start to think that i have all the Midnite albums and compilations and have heard all there songs I am blessed with something new!!! i am finding out there is a lot of Midnite tracks not even released yet!!!

I like Mongst I&I, and enjoy that dub too but my favorite is the nyah-infused "Dubponics" mix. Is this your remix Aqua_ponics....?

And if it was Earthdance 2011 you are referring too Tyler, then I'm pretty sure the song you heard sung by Ron was "He Say, She Say"....
Re: Favorite Midnite song that most recently moved you!
August 01, 2012 10:35AM
yeah! you are right Daniel. It was "He say She say" Thank you for correcting me. Anthology had just come out. I am now trying to remember what show it was where i heard New Life for the first time. Did he play that at SNWMF in 08???

Also that Earthdance show in 2011 was the first time I heard Mongst I&I live for the first time but they played it in another song. I wish that i could record Midnite's sets cause when I wake up the next morning I try so hard to remember all the songs they played but cannot remember them all. Like that amazing set that was played in Nevada City. I wish that I could remember all the songs they played that night. I am still wating to hopefully one day hear Knocka Fia live!!!!

While he didn't sing it at SNWMF in 2008, I do recall Ron singing New Life at NWWRF that year. "Lion Wears The Crown" is the song that Mongst I&I was thrown into at Eartdance. I thought Mike had a video of that but can't seem to find it right now.

Let me help jar your memory a bit on the Haven Underground set (sub-songs not included) last month....
1. Rasta Man Stand
2. Don't Move
3. Bless
4. Love The Life You Live
5. Ring Out A Chant
6. Proceed
7. I Chant
8. Mongst I & I
9. Lianess
10. Batter Ram Sound
11. See Jah
12. Due Reward
13. Roll Call
14. Tru King
15. Lion Wears The Crown
16. Natty Watching You
17. White Collar Criminal
18. Esta Es The Truth
19. Encore - Cool Meditation

August 01, 2012 02:54PM
Yes Aaron & Rossta, I've been enjoying the Children of Jah album as well, especially the titlte track! Picked it up beside the stage at Reggae on the River, which was my plan.

A story about that Knocka Fya video: That was recorded on my birthday (well technicially the day after, but the show started on my b-day). The days leading up to the show I was thinking how I had sen Midnite live several times, but had never heard tham play Knocka Fya, which was pretty much my favorite Midnite song. So i kind of meditated on that for the days before the show. And what was the final song they play that night? Knocka Fya!

Needless to say it was one of the better birthday presents I've received. Bless you Midnite!

That is funny I have read that story before on youtube! That must have been you that wrote that on there. Nomo responded saying how his friend went and asked Ron before the show to play that track that night. Awesome story!!!

Yes aquaponics! Big tune All my life!! I can remember the first time i heard it and listening to it about 10 times in a row. That Let Live album is amazing. I would love to see Vaughn sing The Gad live!!! How irie would that be?

-ALL MY LIFE-
"All the days, all I lives, all I times
Runnin’ from the millions in time are I n I
Stand firm, Jah praise I
All my life, all my health, all my God,

Nutritional balance is wealth,
They move in stealth to take your wealth Yeah I
Thieve yourself from an honored emote of God
Raise your mind, find your feet
Use the earth, use the waters as your guidance.
Find your way to the valley
Something really fast ending with: Babylon for surely they are.
Prey, prey. They have become the prey.

All my life, all my God, all my God
All my balance, all my joy
All my days I give Jah praise, I give Jah praise, praise.
Give Jah the praise.

For surely he is with me for make I to survive
through the valley of the shadow of dangerous times.
All my life, all my thoughts, all my spark, all my talk

One thing continually from in my Iration, livity hey.
Rastaman authority, in the trinity, originally, stand up I-tiopia
Be seen and become dat of an ancient decree of ancient livity
Will teach we practices, what we call culture
Originally I n I Jah will teach we highly the almighty is the majesty.
Ovah land and sea"

I would listen to Jahbok wha ova come and Scheme of things over and over when i first got that album. Re: Favorite Midnite song that most recently moved you!
August 08, 2012 02:20PM
I did not make it to ROTR. That would have been an awesome song to see them open with. I had to decide which show to go to the Nevada City show or Rotr. They were both about a 9 hour drive and i opted for Nevada City as I only would have gone to ROTR for Midnite. At Nevada City they played from midnite till 345 am. it was such a cool venue i felt like they were playing in my living room. I am bummed i missed Rotr but cant make em all. Maybe NOMO will have that recorded and I will check it out as i love that song.

Nah they still play those epic sets!!! Like you said it all has to do with the venue. At NWWRF in 08 an 11 they played close to 4 hours each time! When the vibes are right they play the long set! Plus it helps when they are at a venue that will allow them too. A lot of the times the come at 11 or 12 an have to be done by 2am.

Gotta say... Pon The Watchlist moved me just because of how beautiful it is in terms of "pure skill"! The knowledge and experience and skill that went into making that song and that album... truly exceptional, and how many combined years between all of the musicians were required to create such a staggeringly perfect work!

BZM do you play for a band? All of Midnite's music seems staggeringly perfect to me. But you seem to understand music and how it evolves into a song. I dont. I just enjoy the final product!!
