SNWMF 2013 Presents - Fatoumata Diawara

We saw Fatoumata Diawara last night in Lafayette, Louisana @ "Festival International de Louisiane". Great singing & dancing. Her band = pure musical magic. Great vibe. The crowd of about 2,000 just could not get enough. Wonderful African music. If you can check her out at SNWMF.
A big bonus for us was after her set we moved to a different stage to catch Oliver Mtukudzi & the Black Spirits to finished the night. Great times here in downtown Lafayette.
Tonight it will be Charles Bradley & His Extraordinaires and tomorrow night Sergent Garcia!
Let the good times roll.................................

She was really incredible at the Austin World Music Wobeon Festival. She started out very accoustic and low key and then she kicked it way up...the woman is a beauty, a serious activist and can move like you can hardly believe. Pure woman and beauty in action.
