Are there any current US based reggae bands which are worth looking into?

Something beyond Groundation, JBB, Panda....etc

Thanks

Lots of backing "Bands"...that are great without singers/standout singers IMO. My fav. US reggae is M. SELAH, Bay Area based i think? and one of the most underrated artist in all a reggae...jus my thoughts

Two of my favorites are both from the east coast. Royal Hammer out of Portland, Maine Royal Hammer and Jah-N-I out of Boston: Jah-N-I

You may not be seeing them come through your town anytime soon on tour, but I highly recommend checking their music

if the blue riddim band were to go back on the road again, all of the US bands mentioned above would have to go back to the woodshed and refine their chops !

although brb is made up of a bunch of "old timers" they're like a vintage wine that gets better with age !

big up the blue riddim band, the first american band to come "down the pike" playing ska, rock steady and reggae while many of the aforementioned bands were still in their father's testicles !!

Stevo, never heard Grimy Styles before, but really dig that tune!

Wellcharge - if you're going to resurrect bands, Inka Inka is still one of my favs

Tribal Seeds and The Green are probably my two favorite reggae band/artists coming out of the US at the moment. I also enjoy a few Bobby Hustle tunes and Toussaint's voice is amazing too

These guys have a few tunes as well:

Real lyrics from real times, about standing up to government bullshit. Sometimes it takes more than peace love and granola to overcome injustices in these times.
