I only made it for 2005, but thoroughly enjoyed to favorites Sugar Minott & Luciano, along with the Abyssinians, Winston Jarrett, and the Fifth Element Crew who I saw all for the first and last time. I also deeply regret sleeping through Alcapone's set, but @#$%& happens.

Very pertinent topic! I was just reminiscing about seeing Linvall Thompson for the 1 & only time back at Angels Camp somewhere around 2002 or so and how enjoyable it was...

...What's up with Linvall Thompson? Can we bring him to Boonville?

2008 was the only year I have been to before. Buju Banton was amazing. Midnite was amazing. The two reasons I came. The show that stands out to me the most other than those two that year was President Brown!!!! He was amazing in 08!

2009-Jah Shaka takes the cake in a major way. Followed by Sly & Robbie and Cherine as well as Anthony B
2010-Alborosie leading into Don Carlos (amazing back to back sets) and also Barrington Levy closing on Sunday night
2011-Romain Virgo (hands down) followed by Tribal Seeds and Steel Pulse (I think they played in 2011)
2012-Romain Virgo and Johnny Osbourne

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned Pablo Moses on the Village Stage in 2011. Super irie set!!!

I loved that Pablo Moses show too. Gave copies to the band at their show the next week at Ashkenaz, they all thought the snwmf show sucked. I assured them it did not suck and after they saw the recording, they all agreed. Pablo would not leave the stage til he was done.

People go nuts for Romain Virgo live? What is it about him? His voice that good live?? Love the Protoje Regge Revival song with Romain Virgo. I hit up our local promoter here in Bend, OR asking him to bring Protoje and Gappy Ranks to Bend and he responded by saying reggae music was dead. LOL, I had to send him the youtube video link of Reggae Revival.
