Help with an old US reggae band

There was a great US band in the northeast back in the early 90s called Uprising. The first song on the cd had a lion roaring.

Does anyone have info on these guys? I think they were from Connecticut or DC.

thanks
Rob

ites akee.

they were included on a 1995 various artist CD called "dread in america volume 2"; the song "unconquered lions" was the tune featured and was my introduction to their sound.

i picked up their cd "unconquered lions" after that introduction to them so many years ago; it's produced by jeff order and is on the order record label. it has a few really nice cuts on it; glad i picked it up on the cheap.

here is the info on the back of the cd--just remember the info is quite old:
441 east belvedere ave.
baltimore, md 21212
(800) 451-4410

ites. yes bruce, got it.

i am loving all the cuts i've been sent from you and herb lately, really. the "world crisis" you sent cut has great music and really nice vocals.

i guess it's a good thing you're the money man--things are happening. be sure and link us when you have high quality mp3s of finished mixes ready for airplay, and it's on!

very good works; thanks for the inclusion.
