I came across These last night whilst listening to Rodigan.
All I can say is WOW!! Breath of fresh air is an understatement!
Its been years that I have been this excited about a band that sounds
Like the real deal. smiling smiley
With the likes of Jesse Royal, Jah9 ect coming through 2014 is going
To be an awesome year for Real Reggae Music thumbs up

This track Reminds me a little of Black Uhuru in their prime

Pentateuch definitely rates in my book. This is my favorite track from their debut album:

Their debut album "The Genesis" is an excellent album. The album was produced by (and the band mentored by) Computer Paul from Boot Camp Records, one of the producers who's been at the forefront of quality, consistent reggae music for years

Gives thanks to Ibo Cooper for helping get these young bands a start. Ibo is a strong believer in real instruments with a band sound.

Very nice....my 2 cents is that an extremely talented band is necessary to pull off an epic show. BY FAR the best shows I have seen over the years were GENTLEMAN with the superb FAR EAST BAND and FREDDIE MCGREGOR with his extremely talented band which is called BIG SHIP BAND I believe. Yes by a mile and a furlong the best shows.

i respect and support Computer Paul so i don't mean this as disrespect to his effort but probably the reason this reminds you of Black Uhuru is because the vocal melody traces one of their biggest songs ever, and the female high harmony obviously evokes Puma Jones, which was a sound singular to Uhuru in their greatest period.

anyway if you want you can sing "guess who's coming to dinner... natty dreadlocks" along with the first few bars of this song so again it's fairly loaded as a reminder.
