FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

May 20, 2014, Kingston, Jamaica - Irie Sounds International is pleased to announce the release of their newest reggae compilation album, the In Love Riddim debuting May 20, 2014 with digital distribution on all major digital outlets by Zojak World Wide.

The In Love Riddim is a timeless original track produced by the musician Dr. Suess, who has been producing reggae music for over ten years working with internationally renowned artists like Sugar Minott, Fred Locks, General Smiley, Ras Attitude, Warrior King, and many more.

In Love brings back classic “lovers rock reggae” with light modern touches and features an array of artists from rising stars to legends of the field that appeal to fans of all eras and styles of quality reggae music.

The Album:

1. Warrior King - Your Love is Amazing

This international chart topping singer, fresh off a successful US Tour and continuing on a UK/European leg Summer 2014, lays down a love song that’s sure to be a hit on the airwaves and dance floors the world over. Known for hits like Virtuous Woman, Never Go Where Pagans Go, Melody and Hold The Faith - Your Love Is Amazing makes for another timeless track in the singer's catalog.

2. Frankie Paul – Morning Light

A legend in his own right as the crooner dubbed, “The Jamaican Stevie Wonder,” Frankie never disappoints his legions of loyal fans across the globe that recognize his trademark sound at the first note. The singer burns brighter than ever in Morning Light. Frankie Paul has graced thousands of stages with his greatest hits that even younger listeners of reggae can acknowledge and relate to with notable hits like, Sara (1987 – Jammy’s); Come Back Again (1996 – VP Reccords); and Big and Ready with Super Cat and Heavy D (1992 – Columbia Records). Frankie Paul recorded Morning Light all the way in Gambia, West Africa where he has resided since 1994.

3. Stevie Face – If A No Jah

Hailing from St. Thomas, Stevie Face is a passionate velvet voiced singer that made ladies keep their fingers on Replay as they swooned over his reggae rendition of Tell it Like It Is, which blanketed the Caribbean charts more so than its original counterpart. Stevie brings his conscious tune, If A No Jah, praising and thanking The Almighty.

4. Joshua Hales – Put Up With Me

A versatile young singer from California, Joshua Hales, has been behind the scenes with artists Warrior King, Bugle, Laza Morgan, Fred Locks and others and steps out center stage to bless the music lovers with Put Up With Me. Although he has his own style, the trained musical ear will detect a slight haunting of the late great Gregory Isaacs in his vocals. Prominence is what comes to mind when listening to this tune.

5. Fred Locks - Love You Need

Fred Locks is a legendary roots singer with a cross-generational appeal (in large part due to his classic album "Black Star Liner"winking smiley Fred naturally joins this Lovers Rock vibe with a cut that goes deep into the heart of the In Love with Love You Need.

6. Kana Kiehm – Right on Time

Kana Kiehm is a young impressive singer with a strong Hawaiian influence in many of his tunes. Right On Time is a unique single that utilizes Kana’s genius approach to reggae music appealing to fans of a variety of genres. His catalog of hits continues to grow.

7. Jah Elect - When I Fell in Love

Jah Elect is an upcoming artist blazing out of Jacksonville, FL and steadily building his fanbase. When I Fell In Love will make him a staple on the reggae tour circuit across the nation in no time as it is arguably one of his best singles produced thus far.

8. Likkle Shanx – Endlessly

Unlike most reggae compilation albums, In Love makes a twist with an acoustic mix. Endlessly by Likkle Shanx – a former member of the duo “Roots Revealers” out of Texas, USA (most noted for their cover of John Holt’s Sweetie Come Brush Me) will be THE Summer Wedding Song. It’s breezy, tranquil and invokes all heartrending emotions. YouTube will be flooded with videos of beautiful brides walking the aisles from sandy beaches to botanical gardens to Endlessly.

9. In Love Riddim
Dr Suess – Guitar, drums, keyboards
Steve Steppa – Bass, pick guitar
“Computer Paul” Henton – Synths, percussion
Shenae Wright – Harmonies on “Your Love is Amazing” & “If A No Jah”
Joshua Hales – Harmonies on “Love You Need”
Mixed by Lynford "Fatta" Marshall.

In Love Riddim is a beautifully crafted set of songs and performances over a supremely sublime riddim. We've been enjoying this very much and playing it on our Sunday reggae radio show.

Great, great work Irie Sounds!

Peace,
Bagga......
