Just give Clinton Fearon his own stage...

....and let him go at it!

Been trying to sort out and catch up on more of his music.

This guy is as close to musical-flawlessness as they come...

His voice, lyrics and the way he structures his songs - he's incredibly talented.

Not many artists have full length releases where 80% of the songs are on the "A" grade level, but he sure does...

A Clinton Fearon marathon could never go wrong...

agreed 100%.

serious musician and vocalist -- all his works are amazing. when folks tell me they don't really check for his solo/new stuff outside of the gladiators, all I can do is shake my head. it truly is their loss.

it really gladdens my heart to see/hear/read others appreciation of this man and his works. he is a top notch artist and the kind of human being it feels good to support and uplift!

ites to you reggaefan; I miss your input on the board...but understand the reason for avoidance.

Clinton Fearon is pure reggae royalty. Quality, quantity, humility, validity! in 04 I really had no idea who he was, and a limited reggae pallet, but ever since I have been nothing but impressed with everything about him. Completely unique vocals, brilliant musicianship, pertinent lyrics, and enthralling stage performances. My good friend Chris, I will personally escort u to the set and see in your eyes how much u will truly end up NOT missing Albert at all. I would love a Gladiators reunion as much as anyone, but Clinton Fearon will steal this show, and make believers out of those who lack faith in all that is Crucial!

Don't worry Danny, I'll be there because....

A. The valley stage at that time, isn't even an option in my book.
B. Everyone I know will be at the Village Stage.
C. He is 1/2 the Gladiators.
D. I will be closer to the Dancehall.
E. All of the Above.

*But it would still be better if Albert was with him.

Clinton was IT in 2007 in Boonville hands down. My 9 year old loves the entire Disturb the Devil album. Can't wait to see him again.

I spoke with him last Friday and the smile on his face when we discussed heading back to play at SNWMF was priceless. He was playing and accoustic set with a guitar a fan from France had built for him. The guy told him how much his music had changed his family's life. So his presented him with this guitar on his latest run in France.

He will play 2 60-90 min sets back to back next Saturday night if any of you'all are close by...oh, and it's 10$

Definitely one of the best reggae artists performing currently and one of the most underrated artists in reggae. In addition, I have had the pleasure of chatting with him on more than one occasion and have found him to be a truly warm, humble, and gracious human being.

I gotta say, Mr. Fearon has me more hyped than anyone else in the lineup. Dude is absolutely incredible muscially.

It would have been even more radical had he been headlining (the main stage) one of the nights.

I agree completely with all that is said about Clinton, and that's great to hear that he's so excited to play at SNWMF this year, as we cannot wait to see him!!!

Also, I looked at his website and it says that his new album "Goodness" is set for U.S. release on May 17th. I can't wait to buy that album, you know it's going to be top notch based on ALL his other crucial recordings.

Clinton Fearon is probably my favorite living foundation artist, and not just because he lives in the PNW.

I woke up this morning singing On the Other Side.

"Your hands and your heart
Got to be clean
To reach the other side
Of the mountain"
