in a recent barrington levy interview i read half pint had a health event.

or maybe i misread.

I loved Half Pint back in the day, but he's been VERY quiet for the last 10 years or so and I find the vocals on his recent works don't carry the same vibe as he did in the '80s....

To the SNWMF Promoters:

Please, please, please bring Ijahman-Levi to the fest next year. It would totally be a dream come true!!

Looks like Ijahman only really plays in Europe...I've heard that he has visa issues for comin to the good ole USA. Any idea if that's true and if so, why?

IJAHMAN-LEVI FOR SNWMF 2016!!!

Didn't get my request made for this year so would love to try again for:

July 02, 2015 06:14PM
yes half-pint, yes linval thompson, yes freddie macgregor, yes cocoa tea, yes ijahman levi, yes johnny clarke, yes to basscraft......

no jahtari, no marlon asher, no comanche getting a better timeslot, no artist showcases of no-name acts that don't belong in the dancehall...

Bring someone who hasn't played before like Waggy-T, Bass Odyssey, Addies, Jaro, or another sound that is actually part of the Dancehall culture....

if you're gonna have repeat acts, then its time to bring back Downbeat the Ruler, Jah Shaka & Ras Kush... not Rory with another generic set...

I'm lovin all the Freddie Mcgregor suggestions! I almost drove down to that bunk bay area fest last month just to catch freddie. (so glad I didn't!). I'd be elated to see him come up to the emerald triange during festival season next year.

This year I had to skip the high grade reggae fests and focus on the foundation works. Next year, I'll actually be able to make it out to sierra nevada.. There is nobody I'd rather see at SNWMF than the man called Mutabaruka. Please bring him up!

"No one can stop Reggae. Reggae Strong."

Akae Beka would be crucial as well.. If I had to choose between one or the other to appear at the fest, I'd pick Muta.

Going with Danny On Pressure....)Is it really Buss pipe in the name or is that just what he does)..
Agree with Rossta on Jahdan Blakkmore on main stage, he does so much on different beats some of which could appeal to the electronic-music-generation (like it or not)
and agree with Burro Banton....Can't see Buju, bring his mentor.
