based on various news reports, the drought is over.

have the lakes, rivers, natural pools returned to a decent level?
since snow melts will still be in effect early june i expect that to be the
case... or no?

thoughts ?

Thanks to the deluge in January, all of the reservoirs and lakes in my neck of the woods, with the exception of Whale Rock Reservoir in Cayucos, CA are 80-100% full! Here's a link that you can check current levels by hovering your cursor over the geo tag.

On the cdec site check out these sites in particular. MRK, GMR, DBT, DOT, W3B Sonoma/Mendocino County stream gauging sites that I helped install and maintain. Give thanks for the plentiful rain! ItES

That's good. As a "farmer" myself, I wasn't about to deny the impact it was/is having on NoCal water.

Apparently our governor uttered the statement yesterday, that the drought was over!

That's akin to Ben Bernanke saying the recession was over in 2009.
