My wife is returning to SNWMF this year for the first time in 14 years. Here’s one from the last show she attended in 2004.

Here’s another one from 2004. This is one of my all-time favorite SNWMF memories.

Most of my biggest 'highlights' don't come with video, but this one does......

Windy City's sets were great that year. Boonville in 2013 was, coincidentally, a windy and cold city.

But I say... Some Never Even Plant yet want to Reap,
If you run, be careful, try to look before you leap;
Took a little walk from my Vineyard...
Now I'm on my own
Now I'm left alone..

I have to agree with Dr. Seuss, Michigan & Smiley was one of my favorite sets at SNWMF. It was just good old dancehall vibes.

Linval Thompson 2001

That Linval is sounding sweeeeet! 2001 was the first time I&I made the trod to Angels Camp, and I think I entered the festival at the beginning of his set. Sounds even better now after all these years...

Also, the 2001 show had Don Carlos and Twinkle Brothers, huge sound!

2001 was my first snwmf, and it is full of memories! Perhaps one of the strongest and deepest roots lineups that I can remember with linval and twinkle brothers as stand outs but I know there were nuff more...including bushman to close it out I think.

Full endorsement to bring linval back, as wel as the twinkle brothers, love the vibes

In my opinion, Booneville is definitely a more irie venue vibes wise in mendo, but many memories at angels camp with the skate ramp, open mic, hotta Fya dancehall, etc

Does anyone have videos or recordings of those classic dancehall sessions with Stur-Gav and Youthman Promotions at Angels Camp? I remember watching legends like Alton Ellis, Sugar Minot, U-Roy, Briggy and Sister Carol come through and thats just naming a few. To see them in combination was always a highlight. Those are some of my favorite SNWMF memories.

Dang, I went to Angels Camp 2-3 times and barely stepped foot in the dancehall...

Downbeat in 04 and Youth Promotion in 05 were the best dancehall moments yet IMO

Stanger Cole on the village stage was so memorable

Pressure way back in the day in the Dancehall at Angels Camp

Buju in Angels Camp really stands out to me as well.
