andrew tosh lookz, soundz & actz just like his father. he does not play originalz from what ive seen him perform & does a tribute to his father the whole way without mention. as a late carrier starter his stage presence does to compare a bit to daddy tosh but still iz worth cheaking in forsure. but casinos on other hand are not supported by iNi & dont suggest give dem one penny. babywrong burning up culture iz all i* c sorry native i*drenz!!!!!!!

JAHMEEK, I dont agree with the main aspect of the casino', gambling. But at least the Casino's in Cali dont pay any of the taxes to the State. So a higher percentage of the income would get to the people.

Just to let you know - most Cali casinos do indeed pay tax, and all casino employees (with the exception of those who are actual members of the tribe - very few in most casinos) do pay income tax - we had the Feather Falls casino accountant come to an accounting class I was in a while back. I personally think they are a waste of money, but once in a while it can be fun...

Andrew Tosh was very good when I saw him... at SNWMF even!
Andrew Tosh wicked performer...

Re: Andrew Tosh

if u wanna kno where it all started?"make place for the youth" released in 91' on Tomato. produced by: fully fullwood. nice line up of musicanz like: fullwood, santa davis, keith sterling & tony chin plus guest leads on many songs. this album is the foundation of andrew. the remixx sounds a little commercial(following late 80's style) but the feeling is there. never the less all around quality is higher than next "original man" release which is more known due to distribution promotion. key songz on here besides title track are cover of small axe & a chanting dub version called heathen rage. all the other chunes are good with concious lyrics but sound pretty much all the same. also has extra dance version of title track which was then ahead of the time due to master of production. pretty shure this album has been ripped off & have not heard of rino records doing anything for tomato in long time if they even are in bizz anymore. key # here iz 1991*, it iz a late start for the youth seen. >1LUV*+*+*+*+*+*+*+

I saw him in Berkley for the Tosh Birthday celebreation in 98 I think it was. He came out in a shiney reflective suit that resembled a disco ball. Gotta luv that one. I was impressed however with a few of his original songs that he performed live, much better than the CD from Tomato!

Pale your about three years off man. We saw him there in 1995 (Remeber we made in the drive in October but it was postponed, so we had to wait til November), yeah he was really bling, bling!! I feel ya! When we saw him again though it was in 1998 at the Maritime and he had really changed to a more rootsy feel, he came out wearing robes just like Bunny. I enjoyed his performance much better the second time around.

Come on Bun, ya gotta choose Tosh over the Pixies. Pull it together man, get your priorities straight....
Re: Andrew Tosh
April 26, 2004 11:27PM
cho, they havent played together in some 13 years. i never got a chance to see them when they were the only band I listened to. I would choose them right now over any show. It would be like seeing the original Heptones together with the Skatalites backing.

Agreed, Tosh's show is well worth attending, and Reggae Angels opening, their show is always excellent. Jah Bless

I agree with Dale, caught the Andrew Tosh show the other night here in San Juan Cap. Andrew was very motivational, doing some great songs, and he pulled out an incredible "reggae-mylitis" that was the highlight for me.

Just saw Tosh and the Angels this last friday night, and then again on saturday night in Yachats, Oregon. Both shows were awesome, all of the band members were in sync, and had a very good time on stage. Its a must see concert if you ask me.

Well how lucky you are !!
I live in France and he never toured here :-(
I love Peter Tosh like anyone on earth, i think, and it would be great to see his son on stage.
I got a lot of his material (live, videos...) and i don't particulary agree when i hear it seems he's like his father on stage. No one can imitate the toughest. But the setlists are similar that's right.

I want to ask to all of u : Does anyone here, who attended AT show, have taped his performance??
I would be willing to trade for...

One love

Andrew released his new CD “Andrew Sings Tosh - He Never Died” on April 20th, 2004. Andrew sings his renditions of his father’s original music and the CD highlights Andrew’s song written in dedication to Peter’s life, “He Never Died”. The CD was produced by Andrew & Bunny Wailer co-executive-produced. Some of Jamaica’s best preformers play on the CD including Robbie Shakespere & Sly Dunbar. You find it on the internet or at one of his shows. It's great.
