In all the years Ive been going to the SNWMF, which is like nine, I dont recall they have ever booked an artist from the Eastern Caribbean...Im wondering why?
Just noticed that ROTR has booked Bunji Garlin and Calypso Rose and the UCLA Reggaefest has booked Machel Montano and Xtatik who was a big hit in his prior appearances at ROTR.
After all, this festival bills itself as a World Music Festival.
Perhaps they think the music is too slack for their taste.
