Nanko - Lucky You

this is an odd creepy lil song about some guy coveting his neighbors family lifestyle. i played it over and over for awhile because theres something catchy about it, but the words are sad in my opinion. that framton comes alive cher believe voice modulator still seems to be hanging in there in reggae

ok thanks to bahilman again!i have know heard "one marcus" from spears new cd. it is INCREDIBLE!! anyone agree?
the production and percussion/horns is similar to Winstons rendition of estimated prophet.
sounds like those type of works.(rather than his upbeat happy style)
i am not sure if its Glen Williams on Trumpet, but i love the trumpet track addition. excellent. reminisecnt of "my island dub" living dub works vol 4.
havent heards the whole one yet, but i bet its better than freeman.
still waiting to hear" hey dreddy"'s dub plate special from that.

Jah Mason's "Princess Gone" did well in 2005 too, and even somehow was included in VP Records 'Best Of' series, but was actually released in 1998. Might hear it on a regular show, but not my best of 2005 special...

Jamrock certainly inspired a lot of other artists & DJ's in 2005 tho. I know I've remixed the crap out of it...
