Perry's Black Ark studio location???

All I know was that it was in the Washington Gardens area of Kingston?

Anyone know the exact address or even what street it was on?

I'm assuming it was north of Spanish Town Road and south of Washington Blvd. ----- but anymore help on that would be great!

There is a guy called david Judah, canadian who passed away recently) who put photographs up on the web at some stage of reggae landmarks including 5 cardiff crescent

I Google typed in Lee Perry Washington Gardens Black Ark + other things and got nothing ----- but your Cardiff Crescent got things going :-)

One thing though, I have a 'Travel Vision' map - that lists streets in Kingston - and the closest thing to Cardiff Crescent is 'CARDIGAN' Crescent.

I'm assuming the map is wrong b/c now I see Cardiff mentioned more than Cardigan?????

I didn't know David Judah ---- but was sad to hear that he passed. He was born in 1971 - a fairly young guy. Sad.
