Latin Spice?

A little love for the latin roots. Hoping to see more latin/world beats this year. I love this fest for its diversity, been going for years but starting to feeling like Reggae is taking over. Don't get me wrong, I love Reggae, but it's the world music that makes Sierra so unique.

Nothing but love- Cubanita

I agree with you, i think Yerba Buena was a good addition last year, I didnt think people would pay attention as much, but there was a nice hypped up crowd and i loved every minute of it!!! I say Ozomatli should make an appearance winking smiley

As I recall, people bemoaned the lack of dancehall artists at SNWMF in 04, and I believe that Warren tried to rectify that last year by bringing artists like Chuck Fenda, Lutan Fyah, Turbulence (hey he tried), not to mention Sugar and Pressure in the dancehall.

The quality of world beat/latin roots acts that were available in 05 was sorely lacking, and my guess is that Warren will do his best to 'make good' on that deficiency this year....
