Hendy Woods State Park

From what I read, Hendy Woods is a great park, right on the river with warm showers and with all the amenities of State Park Campgrounds.
I made my reservations last week for 6 nights starting on Tuesday, June 20th. My guess is plenty people will want to camp there, especially those coming early and then moving to the Fairgrounds on Friday morning. I see there have been about 12 sites taken since I first made my reservations. Plenty sites left right now.
Although its not walking distance its a mere 8 miles away and probably a 10 to 15 minute drive. The cost is $25 per night but you can accomadate 8 people and three cars.

Im sure the park will fill with mostly reggae people, and it will be a very irie gathering, much like Richardsons Grove SP next to ROTR.

I've been walking through those woods for over 30 years. Those ancients trees
will talk to ya if you will stop and listen. There is power and magick in the grove.
Even if you're not camping there, it's worth going for a day visit.
Don't forget to check out the Russian Hermits digs while your there.
