Just curios what sounds you all would like to hear in the dancehall this year?
Stone Love was pretty nice on saturday night last year but I wouldn't mind hearing someone different thought. Any Suggestions? How about some vocalist?

well like bigb says, two sides of charlie chaplin and take two are both great: charlie chaplin live in the studio with roots radics band. but his jamaican records are great too, que dem is one i would recommend. unfortunately like brigadier jerry, charlie chaplin doesnt come across quite as well on record as in person.

i notice ernie b has 20 super hits on sonic sounds which is a good sampler though the sound quality might not be A1.

the tamoki wambesi release, king sturgav sound live at clarendon is great too though they stick some studio recordings in with the live sound system stuff.

johnny osbourne hardly ever goes wrong but good value for money comes from the twofer greensleeves release never stop fighting and folly lover. theres another two on one cd at ernie b that ive not heard but looks good: come back darling in combination with warrior. then of course the studio one truth and rights release via heartbeat. a favorite of mine that is out of print is in nah disco style on cha cha; you might be able to find that somewhere. mr budy bye on vp has a great track list too though often i find vp mixes to be a little weak, but if i were to choose one i would say this mr budy bye or the greensleeves set.

that ought to get you going
