SNWMF *needs* Ooklah the Moc

Just saw Ooklah the Moc last night at Ashkenaz, and kept thinking what a contribution they would make to SNWMF this year. I was truly impressed by their live performance - top quality to me - soooo much dancing (my smiling self included).

We would genuinely miss out if they didn't play at SNWMF 2006.

I feel you on that one for sure. OoklAH THE MOC is crucial. I wish they would come along with humble soul to California to spread some aloha.

Anyone headed to SC show tonight?? -- see you there!

Saw them on Saturday at The Last Day Saloon in Santa Rosa and hung out with the guys after words. Check them out in Santa Cruz tomorrow. You won't be let down at all. Great group of up and coming artists. Very humble and thankful for their opportunities. Tremendous harmonies. Full sound. Some dubwise thrown in. Definitely Sierra Nevada material. Outdoors in the sun these guys would raise the day to new levels. Please give them a shot Warren. Big up Ras Bird, Tony, John and crew!!!! Get the pakololo ready, I'm coming your way in May.
