Poor Man Friend lines up with London!

We will bring you some new reggae action on stage this year beside doing studio recordings for the 3rd album.

As long there are people who believe and trust in well organized Reggaevibes Poor Man Friend has reason to go on. So we hereby thank Hans (from Irie Lion) and Jochem Q for their support. Together we'll put forward the Reggae mission in this country.

Poor Man Friend will come up with some interesting live gigs starting at the beginning of may this year. Friday may 5th and Saturday may 13th shows have been confirmed in Leiden and Oss which means a roots reggae crew will be skanking again but this time in close cooperation with Nurture Projects from the UK. The PMF crew got linked with London to back up Clinark and/or Sista Zema for a strong live debut in the Netherlands. See the links inside the agenda for more information about the locations.

Clinark (formerly known as Dillinjah)

Clinark is a Well Founded Bermudian Reggae vocalist currently based in London. Clinark has co-written and co- produced a new collection of works, aptly titled ‘Journey’. It is an independent project with London based producer and drummer, 'Technical T' on the emerging Nurture Project music house. Clinark is back to recover his place on the reggae road map. His latest release is Dem Come, which he sang under the name of ‘Dillinjah’ on the Dread Unity label in 2004. This was a truly modern day cyber production with Clinark writing and voicing tracks in Bermuda and the production being done in the UK. Such was the success for ‘Dem Come’; a new version that will appear on Clinark's new ‘Journey’ album in 2006. Another sure fire hit single from this collaboration, ‘Fire Bun’ is on line for release in 2006. If you get the opportunity you must see Clinark perform live. He will be doing some gigs in the UK and Europe this year. Shine your lighter, you’re in for a spectacular live Roots Reggae performance! You may click Clinark's picture and check the exclusive vibes coming from this track called Fire Bun, raised in the Unitone Soundimentional Studio, for Dread Unity on line for release in 2006. Zema the main act of the show is a well established Reggae daughter in US/Jamaica.Tony Rebel recently put Zema in the line up of Jamaica's one and only Roots Reggae Festival called Rebel Salute. Zema has finished recording a new album set for release in 2006 to be launched and received in Holland as well. Zema's fourth album was recorded primary at Bob Marley's Tuff Gong Studio in Kingston JA, with Sly and Robbie, The Gladiators, Horsemouth, Ansel Collins and Dalton Browne. Zema's latest album presents combinations with Al Griffiths of the Gladiators (GladiatorsBand.com) and Mark Wonder. So it is not a surprise to read more about the Reggae daughter on the jamaicaobserver.com website. The vibes right so check it out yourself. Click Zema's picture and keep skankin'!
