good thing its not up to you then brethren

You and I wasn't at that particular recording although from what I know of you
Herb - you been amongst nuff of those veterans to know - so I defer to those who were there. Fams, Carlie and others were the 'Funk Brothers' of those recordings and nuff who were there testify to that. I've heard it from Tyrone, Marcia, Junior, Judy, Fams & Carlie themselves and a host of many vets who was there.
If you want to know what's what ..... contact your local reggae Veteran !!!!!!!!!!!
...... Bob was blessed with a set of Buzzrock Funk Brothers.

>remember, "its a court of law, not a court of justice" as someone once said.

A true JB - but even within the English common law shitstem, if the fix
is not in, then a case can be revisited and a previous agreement can be
voided thru misrepresentation, lack of proper council or other
mitigating circumstance.

We on this forum need not fret the law portion. We are here together thru
love of the music and culture. And the facts are clearly in favor of
the sufferah camp.

Stay strong Fams - battah down the greed freaks.

I wish it were, I'd definitely award Family some money knowing of his immense contribution to the success of the Wailers in general and Bob in particular...all I'm saying is that he may have already signed away his legal rights to further moneys in pursuit of the quick buck up front...and that decision is up to the courts, not me.

Now I don't know for sure it was Fams, it could've been Wire too, but I know for a fact that Mr. Barrett can play many instruments (check his album Juvenile Delinquent for credits: [www.roots-archives.com]) and had a major hand in most all the BM&W arrangements, recorded and live.
