A few weeks ago a well-travelled artist and I were talking about this similar subject. Particularly about how the europe market is nowhere near as big, especially in terms of sales, than the us market. The us is still the largest buying market for reggae music. Jamaica is still a great place to be... Sure it has it's negatives like anywhere else, but the positives of this country still outweigh the negatives by far.

It sounds like since you want the most music and good weather ,winter is your best time. The whether is warm but not too warm (usually high 70's to low 80's) and lots of stageshows (rebel salute being on major winter stageshow I think most SNWMF people would love).

I haven't read the book so can't judge it's content. But I tend to think if it gets kids reading and the content isn't totally destructive, I wouldn't see a problem given that at least it might get some kids interested in reading.

Riddim is pretty decent. Snoop's vocal is better than the "la la la" tune but still bland. Drake is basically the worst rapper I've ever heard
