Yeah man. I second that. Kevin is a great artist, and knows the roots. Beside's being a fantastic vocalist and songwriter, he's a wicked bassie too. Respect.by Shockout Radio Family - SNWMF Phorum 2013
@ BV - I know my buddy got some footy of the show from his I PHone. i will have a look and see if the audio and video is good and ask around to see if anyone else has video. Nice vid you posted though. One loveby Shockout Radio Family - SNWMF Phorum 2013
Last month I got to see Keith and Tex perform with Santa Davis on Drums, Fully Fullwood on Bass, and Tony Chin on gitz. Of all places, it was here in South Orange County at Don the Beach Comber, Sunset Beach. Trust me, it was extra nice. Ketih and Tex still have the same quality of voice and vibes.by Shockout Radio Family - SNWMF Phorum 2013
Saw the Wailers last night at Coach House, San Juan. Survival is not an easy album to cover. To pull it off all night, vocally and musically, is a huge accomplishment. So big up to the entire band for that. For synth horn patches, Keith Sterling on keys put the element from Survival's horn lines into the live show nicely. Not sure if you're still looking for some Hi Rez photos of W.K. If so, I'm pretty sure 613 Photography has a grip of them. I have their email at home, but i have their number in my phone here.by Shockout Radio Family - SNWMF Phorum 2013
I've been checking this thread today. For what it's worth, I'm putting in my two cents. I used to play keys on tour with Mouse for a good three year run or so. He would often say, "you can take the mouse of the ghetto but you can't take the ghetto out of the Mouse". I'm not going to try and be a character witness here, because we all know he's never exactly been the greatest role model.by Shockout Radio Family - SNWMF Phorum 2013

saw her set at mozambique in laguna beach last week. when i walked in there were only a hand full of people out of a PACKED house who were NOT caught up in her delivery. she's got vibes and smiles for days. the timber of her voice reminded me a bit of tanya stephens (which was a plus for me), but she's surely her own artist. couldn't help but to notice lucky dube's spirit through her raw talent oby Shockout Radio Family - SNWMF Phorum 2013

Yeah man, there are so many Radics riddims out there. I second you on that. After hearing that new Million Stylez track with the "Internatinal Farmer" sample, I got stuck listening to more Peter Broggs. The Radics riddim from "Jah Jah Voice Calling" is ruff. Check out the extended part of the version. Plenty of sample material for the right producer to work with. Jah Jah Voiby Shockout Radio Family - SNWMF Phorum 2013

Here's a new one from Swedish dancehall artist, Million Stylez. Just heard it today. I think the producer sampled Peter Broggs' "International Farmer". Made me go back and spin that one too. One love. Million Stylez - Move From On Yaby Shockout Radio Family - SNWMF Phorum 2013

Wow. That video was intense. What a sad situation. These pioneers should be enjoying the fruits of their labor by this time in life, and have plenty of money to leave behind to their families. I've heard that there are legal organizations over seas in Europe that are trying to help out by contacting the musicians from these recordings, interviewing them on the phone, and re-documenting those whoby Shockout Radio Family - SNWMF Phorum 2013
I hear everyone loud and clear on the death vibe and tombstone thing. if I hadn't posted this flyer up at work here while my manager was walking back and forth by my desk i probably would have taken a little more time to notice the names on those tombstones. not cool. at the end of the day; it was a pretty tasteless move by who ever put that flyer together. On the other hand, 9 out of 10by Shockout Radio Family - SNWMF Phorum 2013
I don't think I've seen anything posted on here for this show yet. Looks like a last minute thing. Although this is not listed on the flyer, Martin Campbell IS being backed by the Fully Fullwood Band featuring Santa Davis on drums. Wish I could go but i have to work.by Shockout Radio Family - SNWMF Phorum 2013
