I have 20 Classic Hits Of Gregory Isaacs on Sonic Sounds. The sound quality is abysmal. I played it once then filed it away.by Gordon - SNWMF Phorum 2013
I want to start my own sound system but finances are low, so I'm thinking of using a UK site similar to Kickstarter. Anyone had any experience of crowdfunding? Is it a good idea, would people donate? I can't work a regular 9 to 5 due to serious health issues but I could operate a sound. I'm not in it to clash or make money, just something to do that I've always wanted to do.by Gordon - SNWMF Phorum 2013

Hi All My new DJ Greedy G podcast is now up at www.djgreedyg.podomatic.com It's the first "listen again" podcast of my new Monday night show on Mod Radio UK from 9pm to midnight UK time where I play mostly old school 60s and early 70s revives and then some roots and dub later on but for this first week I stuck to mostly 60s stuff and a bit of soul at the end, but trust me I've gotby Gordon - SNWMF Phorum 2013

Hi All Please take a moment to check my project on Indieagogo fundraising site - it's a site similar to Kickstarter and it encourages people with ideas to seek funding for their projects. If you can spare a couple of dollars (or 50 or 100 or 1000!!!!!!) then please take a look at the site. If not, it's okay but please pass on the page to anyone who you think could help out. Hip Hop mixing with reggae is nothing new. Just listen to KRS One's first album with his late colleague Scott La Rock as Boogie Down Productions (or any KRS One album from the 80s and 90s for that matter). Capleton did a tune with Method Man from Wu Tang Clan almost 20 years ago now titled Wings Of The Morning. Hello to all my amigos way out west. Hope y'all good. I've been about but not posting to forums much. Recently became disabled with arthritis and vascullitis on my legs, feet and knees so walking is kinda painful and always will be from now. Thank the Lord for painkillers. Of course there are other remedies for pain..... but hard to get them round where I live. Now I'm quite ill, I deby Gordon - SNWMF Phorum 2013

Totally heartbroken at this news. I had heard about his comeback in it's early stages due to someone looking for clean copies of his 45s and took a close interest which led to me communicating with Ian and Claudius on a regular basis. I gave heavy rotation to a couple of tracks on my old radio show here in the UK and claimed the album to be the lost "Holy Grail" of roots reggae musiby Gordon - SNWMF Phorum 2013

I have taken advantage of this amnesty and have returned. It's a good board for the heavier/deeper side of reggae music. The clientele is a lot younger than other boards but it's up to us older heads to educate where it's wanted. I'm no longer a crazy hothead (meeting the girl of my dreams has totally mellowed me out...amongst other things which apparently I can't mention here lol) and jusby Gordon - SNWMF Phorum 2013
