I want to start my own sound system but finances are low, so I'm thinking of using a UK site similar to Kickstarter. Anyone had any experience of crowdfunding? Is it a good idea, would people donate? I can't work a regular 9 to 5 due to serious health issues but I could operate a sound. I'm not in it to clash or make money, just something to do that I've always wanted to do.

I have taken advantage of this amnesty and have returned. It's a good board for the heavier/deeper side of reggae music. The clientele is a lot younger than other boards but it's up to us older heads to educate where it's wanted.
