I'll make sure I leave feedback on Itunes and will always support all releases from ZHP/ZIK...was a mistake in my previous post when I said Zion High Kings....meant ZIK. Really looking forward to that Lloyd Brown. That riddim in the preview video for his album is tuff. Been playing that over and over from the 4/20 I Grade Dub session when Tippy was running it. This past weekend I pulled ouby jps - SNWMF Phorum 2013
The album is also now available at Ernie B's. Another great album by Zion High Kings. Still have the General Jah Mikey album in steady rotation and look forward to the other albums they will be releaseing later in the year as well.by jps - SNWMF Phorum 2013
Yes, thanks MK. Found quite a few youtube results for Micah. Haven't had a chance to listen to any yet though. Would love to pick up a copy of this 7" so I hope it reaches the usual outlets.by jps - SNWMF Phorum 2013
Anyone familiar with this group Jah Over Evil? First I heard of them was this morning. It's a 5 member group, 2 of which are Briggy's son and Ilawi's daughter.by jps - SNWMF Phorum 2013
Lovin this mix as usual RMS. Many thanks. Always loved the original Errol Dunkley- You've Been Bad track, so like how this starts off. I sent you a PM as well. The wife an I will be in Philly for Reggae In The Park in August and I believe the rest of the RMS fam is located there.by jps - SNWMF Phorum 2013
Thanks for puttin that up Icharlie, was about to do it myself. I love what Tippy is doing with I Grade Dub and playing out a lot with the VI artists. Its how this music started and am very happy to see the whole sound system vibe going strong.by jps - SNWMF Phorum 2013
Thanks for all the feedback guys. Really looking forward to this show even more now. @Jahsiah, don't know too many details about the Beres show really. It's at the Lincoln Theatre in Raleigh, North Carolina on August 21st. Don't have a flyer, but the website says it's the One Love One Life tour. Says Beres Hammond w/ Harmony House Musicians, DJ Inferno and Ikronik. Hope that helps.by jps - SNWMF Phorum 2013
Don't know too much about them but I thought I remembered hearing good things. Luciano will be here in Carolina in July and it says w/Ikronik...so I'm assuming they will be doing their own thing along with backing him? They will also be back in August along with Beres Hammond.by jps - SNWMF Phorum 2013
Got my copy in the mail the other day and it's been getting plenty of play over the weekend. Just like the Joyful Noise comp a few years back, I love the mix of artists on display for this album. The Lutan track is amazing....cannot wait for the full length due out soon, and really loving the Junior P and Danny I tracks. Anyone have a link to the interview you all mentioned?by jps - SNWMF Phorum 2013
One of my favorites is Achis Another good one is Reggae Vibesby jps - SNWMF Phorum 2013
Battle Goes On is one of those tracks that I seem to never play just once....always hit the repeat button.by jps - SNWMF Phorum 2013
Been playing this album all week. Picked up my copy from Ernie's.by jps - SNWMF Phorum 2013
Yes LK, great album. No More War is still one of my favorite Lutan tracks. And on the topic of Lutan albums, Phantom War is such a great album. And here is the Niyorah track on the same ZIK riddim.by jps - SNWMF Phorum 2013
New track from the Zion I Kings riddim album and will also be on the Lutan/I Grade album.by jps - SNWMF Phorum 2013
Yes, very much enjoy this track.by jps - SNWMF Phorum 2013
I was able to catch him live last year here in North Carolina and he was great. A very humble man as well. He will be back here in September and am very much looking forward to it.by jps - SNWMF Phorum 2013
Saw Tippy put the link up a bit ago when I was out and was dying to get home and play this session. Was coming over here to share the link but you beat me to it....thanks I Charlie. Wicked session!! I Grade always bring the big vibes.by jps - SNWMF Phorum 2013
Yes, I've been enjoying their music for a while now. And it's nice to see a full "band" with musicians which you don't see very often in JA these days. The drummer/singer is Kuch McAnuff, the son of roots singer Winston McAnuff.by jps - SNWMF Phorum 2013
Their album Skyfiya came out last year sometime. I think it's a very good album and would love to see them live. There are some videos of recent performances on YouTube.by jps - SNWMF Phorum 2013
Many thanks for this mix!!by jps - SNWMF Phorum 2013
Haven't had a chance to pick this up yet, but I will be shortly. Rasta Awake is available at viroots.comby jps - SNWMF Phorum 2013
Always enjoy High Grade mixes. Made a copy on cd and it ended up in my wife's car so haven't really had a chance to check it yet.by jps - SNWMF Phorum 2013
Saw Lutan Fyah about a year ago here in Durham at a very small spot....about 40 people or so. Luckily found out about the show the day before. I was speaking to him before the show and he said that he puts the same passion into every show, whether it be 50 or 5000. He played for over an hour and was very into it, even though you could tell he wasn't that familiar with the backing band too. A truby jps - SNWMF Phorum 2013
