I've noticed that the hard core posters here are more apt than not to just post their picks for Reggae performers. There is nothing wrong with this at all. Daniel, May I recommend that you use both the "phorum" here and Facebook as sources to compile the readers requests for artists to appear for SNWMF 2013? Some folks already know about Facebook policy reversals concerning privacy issues, ownership of media, and opt-outs for marketing. That being said, here's Mr. Bassie's picks for 2013. Want to ask if a tribute type of a show would appeal to festival attendees? For example, I would love to hear a tribute show to Dennis Brown. Can we get Sly & Robbie to back singers that would do Dennis Brown tunes? Ok, so Sly & Robbie may not be available. The concept is to highlight a reggae legend. Midnite lovers, What can you say about a show that starts(headliner) at 1.005am and goes till the last call?(1:45) 40 min for $30.! To tell the whole story. Midnite sounded Irie! It was too much pre-show filler that caused the heartburn. The production crew that included the dancing troupe was out of place. I and I give due respect to Diesel for hosting MyKal Rose in Chico Sunday night.He played for about hour and half, Mykal played all his big hits and sounded Irie! Daniel, Deep regards for the LKJ booking at SNWMF. The last time we had a chance to see LKJ and band was at the Blumbershoot Fest 2002. He played every song in his book on that gig. Something overlooked in the thread is the incredible ska music that these guys can deliver. Incredible riddems. LKJ and Dennis are the real UK rockers. Cheers Daniel! To be honest. I would love to attend this show. Jr. Reid and Prez. Brown are a mighty line up One question I have about the venue, Lost on Main. What are the restrictions for entering LOM? Will I have to submit to a body search for entrance? Last time I attended shows at LOM and La Salle's. A bouncer did the duties. This is unacceptable and must stop. Los Amigos Invisibles - South American dance funk band that would rock the crowd Albino - local band playing your favorite Afro-pop rhythms .
