I remember Rodigan spinning one of Mickey’s tunes years ago ( Save a little bit for me ) and he stated that he died after a dispute Over a Television set Not that this answers your question Michael but thought it may help You if you are interested on the life of Mickey Simpson I believe the tune that I mention was originally released in October 1994 if that helps you narrow things down

I remember sitting in a friends house in the early 80s when he spun this tune I got him to spin it about 10 times and after that was straight down to the record Shop to order the album, arguably my favorite album of all time
