This is my first ROTR ever. I'm very excited. So much so I'm arriving on Thursday.by Zana - SNWMF Phorum 2013
I'm on the left. Good times! Been going to this festival for 12 or so years now.by Zana - SNWMF Phorum 2013
I'm gonna watch it, regardless.by Zana - SNWMF Phorum 2013
I can't answer the first question. I tried to find a map of the fairgrounds online but couldn't. Its a nice size venue. The walkway from the main stage to the village stage goes past the food vendors and that can get a bit crowded at times. And the main stage gets very deep crowds during the main acts but nothing you can't make your way to the front if you want.by Zana - SNWMF Phorum 2013
I bought my tickets for ROTR last night. This will be my first time going and I'm quite excited. I think the line up is excellent, especially with the addition of Junior Kelly.by Zana - SNWMF Phorum 2013
Quoteakee123 I think Groundation is amazing with their sound they produce. Just wondering if this was a case of a choosing the wrong guy to sing. Nothing against him concerning his creativity, message, talent...it's just the voice. I completely agree with you. I love their music (minus the singing) but can't listen to an entire song due to his voice quality rubbing on my nerves. There are othby Zana - SNWMF Phorum 2013
I've been reading and watching posts of his on FB. He says he won't perform again, that he is sueing someone claiming to be his son (Junior Spear), ebreggae and others stealing his catalog, etc. Anyone understand what is going on with him? It sounds like he has a lot of drama, for lack of a better word.by Zana - SNWMF Phorum 2013
I think its funny. Especially because of the reggae artists coming outa Germany with heavy patois accents (Gentleman, Cornadoor...).by Zana - SNWMF Phorum 2013
Hey Spliff, I didn't keep track of his set, but he did play a lot of favorites (Raid the Barn, Water Pumpee, My yes and my no). Maybe just a few from his new album. He closed his set with Living my Life. -Zby Zana - SNWMF Phorum 2013
Was another great, high energy show. I was in the front dancing all night. He came on around 11 or so. Wish I had some cash on hand to pick up a tour t-shirt. I didn't catch his name, but one of his opening act, a guy up there by himself, had a great sound. Awesome voice. I need to look into who that was. I took the video below. He makes a comment about facebook, and it was pretty cool for meby Zana - SNWMF Phorum 2013
I was there on Saturday and Pablo Moses was a surprise guest. Midnite did an awesome 2 hour show that started at Midnight and went till 2am. I thought it was a great festival. Went last year to see Don Carlos. There was lots of yummy food vendors (indulged in some nacho tater tots). Will go next year for sure. It was a larger turn out on Saturday, it seemed, than last year. By the end of theby Zana - SNWMF Phorum 2013
I made it out to this little, but nice festival last night. Arrived by 7:30pm or so. There was a surprise set by Pablo Moses, which was great. Midnite came on by Midnight and played a great 2 hour set. It was a wonderful way to watch the Blue Moon cross the sky to the sounds of Midnite. Mykal Rose is suppose to headline tonight.by Zana - SNWMF Phorum 2013
Probably too late to get this but for next time, get some Good @#$%&. It's fantastic Seasoningby Zana - SNWMF Phorum 2013
As a huge fan of the dancehall, I thought Comanche was amazing Saturday night. I couldn't stop dancing. On that note, I left Friday after Rodigan played dubstep (heard it was off the hook after that) and was too tired to continue after Comanche on Saturday to stay for Stone Love. My favorite dancehall so far was with Ras Kush a couple years ago. That was some deep, groovy music. Each to tby Zana - SNWMF Phorum 2013
I must have missed all the ragers because I had nothing but good, mellow vibes all weekend. Better than last year. I didn't hear any parties in my area of the campground either. First time in years I didn't have to wear earplugs. I did see some guy Saturday morning on the top of his vehicle blasting, dancing and singing to Awolnation tho. Thought that was a bit different. Glad he wasn'tby Zana - SNWMF Phorum 2013
Hey I wanted to thank those who posed links to some sweet downloads. I'm bumpin them while I pack. Thanks so much! Good vibes all.by Zana - SNWMF Phorum 2013
Not relaxing, packing but I am listening to mix reggae. I made a big burrito mix so I'm packing that up. Plan on supplying my own lunch but buying dinner from al the wonderful vendors. Cheers!by Zana - SNWMF Phorum 2013
OMG these CD's are amazing! Thank you so much for making them available to download. I feel like my life is better for having them.by Zana - SNWMF Phorum 2013
Quotekookmix Zana, Was that 2010, the infamous "DOOLEY" episode? Yeah I was camped right next to that jerkoff. Bet he felt like @#$%& when he woke up in the closest 8x8 cell. T - 10 hours until I pull the Battleship Blunt out of the driveway and head north! Yah, that could have been the one. Wowza. I'm totally not getting into the whole music in the camp ground debate but Iby Zana - SNWMF Phorum 2013
Thank you I love me some 70's roots.by Zana - SNWMF Phorum 2013
Ditto x2 Koolmix The music actually helps me fall asleep and have awesome dreams. I have my earplugs in tights and I'm half deaf though. I'm up at 8am cooking breakfast and having my music on as well. The one thing, and it has only happened once years ago, was some crazy dude was screaming until 6am. It was so bad, even with the earplugs. Everyone had gone to bed and the campground was relaby Zana - SNWMF Phorum 2013
