I remember hearing that the Merchants gave mad support. From Angels Camp, to Murphy's, to Arnold, and down to Sonora. I see that Reggae in the Hills is jumping off with a strong line up. So if the World Music Fest does not return, hopefully the Hills will keep it solid. Even if Midnite and VI crew become regulars there as they were at Frog Town early in the last decade. I'm on the fence about going this year, and I have not missed the fest since I began attending 14 years ago. Just seems this years lineup is not a strong as years past. Last year was pretty strong. I'm so glad Angels Camp brought the Roots back. I'll check that out in a couple of weeks. Just to name a few MIAs that could have made this year's SNWMF solid. Angels Camp! I'm going to check this out! The last time I saw Capelton was when the SNWMF was still there. I love Angels Camp! I have a timeshare there and can walk to the show. I wouldn't mind if the SNWMF relocated back there.by cultureman - SNWMF Phorum 2013

I just got "In Awe" a few weeks ago. I kind of wish they would be less digital and more Roots in their production like the days of Seek Knowledge, Jubilees of Zion, Scheme of Things, Anishant Maps and their greatest Unpolished. Yes it is. Unless something has changed. Friday nights event begins around 6PM and Runs until 4AM Saturday. Saturday 11AM-4AM. The dancehall has always been included in the 12 years I've gone. I've skipped some Friday's. But have gone to Saturdays dancehall with a day Ticket Frog Town (Angels Camp) was my favorite location to hang around for the dancehall until she Sheriff-Raff ,booted the eventby cultureman - SNWMF Phorum 2013

I miss Angel's Camp! The Sheriff there shut it down and everyone was shouting "fire burn". The thing is, he was not sweating the herb, or anyone smoking. He was looking out for the families who needed protection from the tweekers.
