NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS:

Hearts Helping Haiti - Ukiah Valley Medical Center is sponsoring a large medical relief effort at Hopital Adventiste d'Haiti in Port Au Prince. So far over 60 local doctors, nurses, physical therapists and others have traveled to Haiti to help care for the overwhelming health challenges facing the Haitian people. Ours will be a continuing, sustained effort. In addition, our community is sponsoring the Reveil Matinage Orphanage in Port Au Prince.

The Lucy Moore Foundation - The Lucy Moore Foundation is dedicated to the fulfillment of two distinct goals. The first is the protection and preservation of the Sacred Site known as Bonopoti or Bloody Island. The second goal is to facilitate social and cultural revitalization through the preservation of Native culture, history, and values through education and the preservation of traditional and contemporary music, dance, storytelling, arts and crafts, health, nutrition, and environmental awareness.

Mateel Community Center - The Mateel Community Center seeks to involve all segments of the community in the creative actualization of a cultural vision embracing diversity, vitality, justice and sustainability. Our programs and events serve changing community needs, emphasizing the performing and visual arts.

Project Sanctuary - A non-profit organization that has been providing services for victims & survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence for all of Mendocino County for over 30 years.
